Kids love this cedar swing set with slides, swings, and monkey bars, customers said. "Great quality," though assembly typically takes 7-16 hours, with some noting wood can split during setup. Most praised sturdiness and value, though a few mentioned thin wood and sizing better for ages 2-8. Excellent customer service quickly replaces damaged parts.

I have mixed reviews on this...

I have mixed reviews on this product. The finished product looks great. However, the assembly was terribly complicated. This product comes in pieces, literally just boards to be assembled (see photo), which is overwhelming when you find all three boxes filled with pieces. The boxes are not set up any particular way, so it’s a frustrating scavenger hunt to locate the pieces you need. Several boards had illegible Identifier stamps on them, and 2 of the hardware bags had no label. Which made things a little tricky. The “Bilt” app, had different instructions halfway through, compared to the manual, which complicated things further. There definitely needs to be better packaging and labeling. Some of the boards were splintered and only half had pilot holes drilled into them. It was definitely a challenge. It took my husband and I 7 hours from start to finish to build it. Overall, we like the finished product, and our daughter loves it. Which is all that matters in the end.

We purchased this swing set for our twin 3.5 year olds. They are loving it! It is good quality and very sturdy. I sometimes swing on it with them. Definitely a great purchase for the money. I have friends that bought very expensive swing sets that are not as nice as this. It did take quiet a while to assemble - roughly 8 hours for two very handy men but didn’t seem difficult. It’s just a lot. Overall, we are very satisfied with this swing set and look forward to lots of years with it.

Instructions were easy to follow. It took us 2 days but it was mainly built by one person. Day 2 needed extra hands to connect the pieces. So happy we went with this playset!

Preface: we were building this in...

Preface: we were building this in 104 degree Texas heat with no shade available. So we needed to get out of the sun and hydrate for about 15 minutes out of each hour. With that said, this probably took us about 16 hours to build. Why? Not inexperience (husband has an engineer brain and can build literally anything). Not poor instructions, although one or two steps were a little vague, and I think we made maybe two mistakes that had to be undone (could have been the heatstroke lol). Not missing/broken pieces — we only had one defective screw (head was mis-manufactured) but it was a simple 1.5” wood screw we easily replaced with one on hand. So — the lengthy build time is probably because it was being built by a Grandpa who was determined to make it perfect. Tedious as h&@ but worth the effort. He predrilled pilot holes for far more steps than the instructions called for (not every single step involving screws, but pretty darn close). He also hand-fastened (with a ratchet/hex bit) a lot of pieces where he could have used a cordless driver, because he was concerned about the integrity of the wood. End result >> we had zero split wood. He also loosely fastened each step of the build before triple-checking for square and level and only then securing the fasteners. Additionally, at the very end he cut “shims” from a cedar board to level the entire playset before driving and securing the anchors (note that in photo there was still cardboard doing this work; he added the shims/anchors the next day). The end result is a really beautiful and remarkably sturdy playset. It’s a rock solid build, and we think it will easily last our granddaughter 6-7 years. We did treat the entire thing with Olympic weatherseal stuff, and will do that annually. We’ll also follow manufacturers instructions to do a check on nuts and bolts at least annually, and to do a splinter check every now and again. All in all, a really great set at a reasonable price point if you are willing to be methodical in the construction. Yes the wood is thin, but the design is well-engineered and the final product (when constructed with a Grandpa’s love) is structurally strong and solid. I won’t lie, the build (in 104 degree heat) was pretty miserable. Not difficult, just miserable. But totally worth the effort. Small tips: (1) two cordless drill drivers are good to have — one for drilling, one for driving. The minor time-save of not needing to change out the bits is actually a major time-save if you are being meticulous and doing a lot of pre-drilling. (2) the lower canopy support is not super secure as designed and built — any weight on it (and it’s at a very tempting level for putting weight on it) will pretty easily pull it downward. We added 4 woodscrews (two on each end) and that completely solved the problem. If we’d had more time we’d might have added triangle corner brackets for a little more strength, but it’s not going anywhere. (3) The only piece I am not impressed with is the bench seat. It’s fine for our 38 lb. granddaughter but I think grown ups will be sitting on it fairly often and I have very little faith in its durability. A center support could be added pretty easily (and probably should be if you have time to make one). We ran out of time (we are from out of town), so I am guessing we may find it broken by next year. If so Grandpa will rebuild with either more support or stronger materials or both. Bottom line: Built with love and care, this is a remarkably sturdy and durable set for our granddaughter. She’s 3 now, and this will easily last until she ages out of it (maybe 6-7 years or so). It’s not a crazy-strong 4x4 and 2x4 build, but it also didn’t cost $2500 so there’s that. A really good set at this price point.

Assembly is very hard… took me and my husband 1+1/2 days. The manual isn’t very clear at some parts and Some pieces broke during assembly. After assembly it seems to be a great product. Will come back after a while to update if it’s still doing good.

Our grandchildren love this. We did add a different swing and will be adding a different swing for our younger grandson so he want fall off. I will warn you it says 10 hours to assemble with 2 people. I put this together by myself I did get my wife to help on a couple of items that took 2 people to do and I can say that it will take all of 10 plus hours to assemble. I'm happy with the product and think it will last a few years it's not very thick so I would not recommend to many children playing at one time. I do have a niece that stays with us and she is about 4 foot tall and I want let her play in the club house because she is to tall for it. But all in all our grandchildren will get a lot of use out of this.

This is a great swing set...

This is a great swing set I've had up for 2 summers now. It's sturdy and my 6 year old daughter loves it. Swings are sturdy enough for adults to swing on. BEWARE: This set is not easy to put together. I'm very handy and it took myself and a friend of mine a FULL day in the blazing sun to put it together. I would HIGHLY recommend 2 people to put together. One for sorting and handing off the nuts, bolts and screws, and the other for assembling. IMPORTANT. Make sure you have a drill/driver with all the attachments (rachet set etc) you could possibly need. It's definitely a task, but well worth a hard days labor.

Good playground set. Came in 3 boxes. Comes with everything you need to build it. I do recommend using your power tools to finish faster if you have them. My little boy loves it. Just make sure you read the directions carefully. I would recommend this.

We absolutely LOVE it. When we received the boxes there was a number/website you contact for professional installation for a fair price. We have it a call and they came out 2 days later and put it together for us. They were very professional. Made sure everything was level and square. They also made sure there were no exposed screws and everything was safe. They noticed our telescope had a crack so they went ahead ordered us a new one. When they were done they cleaned up all trash and left everything very clean. We were very impressed with the product and the services. I would highly recommend this product and company.

5yesr old daughter loves it. Truly has everything a kid could want in play set. Be nice for a few more monkey bars to be added. We made the bottom part a sand pit. Truly worth every penny. She plays on it everyday.

Christmas present for our 3 and...

Christmas present for our 3 and 1 year old. Time consuming to put together. Took longer than expected. It was a solid 8-9 hours spread over 2 days. Only needed help putting the slide together then adding the swing beam to the playhouse. The rest I did alone. Solid for the price. We paid just under $600 with free prime shipping. I’d recommend this all day so far. Will provide an update after a few weeks. Update: Over a week in and very satisfied. The company shipped a replacement board very quickly and with no hassle. I registered the set on the website then requested the board. Very easy process. I stained the wood with a mid-grade stain from Lowe’s that’s Reccomended for cedar. Everything looks and works good. For the price I will definitely recommend this set. I’ll update if anything changes.

We purchased in May 2021 and then installed in Novemeber 2021. Boxes were kept in our garage until installation. We are now not even 4 months of it being exposed to the outdoor climate and it’s already molding. I’m beyond upset. I guess you get what you pay for. STAY AWAY.

My kids (Age 9 & 2)...

My kids (Age 9 & 2) have just loved this swing set! They spend hours everyday swinging and sliding on this swing set in a backyard, with their friends! The slide is super slippery and steep, making it fun! I had to call customer couple of time about something and they were very helpful and provided very good customer service. Only reason for giving 1 less star will be the built quality, Its not great but again its not bad or ok either. I am very happy with this product given the prise I paid and that it comes with great customer support and lot of additional features including swings, monkey bar, slide, rock climing wall, jymnastic swing, kids sand play area, etc.

Took a bit longer than 10 hours but that might have been more due to rain delays than the product. Great instructions and we’re impressed with the quality of the hardware.
