Backyard Discovery Lakewood Swing Set

Item arrived in 2 different shipments delaying building process. Box was dented and two boards were split,

A lot of the wood is thin and light so make sure you have a stable place for this swingset. They do include stakes though, just FYI. A few pieces EASILY broke while building this set so keep that in mind. As long as you have 2-3 people building (1-2 people building and 1 person pulling all the parts for each page for the people building) it was relatively easy and only took a few hours. I was just VERY surprised at how thin most of the wood is/feels. Once it was all build we had three 175 lb adults sitting on it and it held. So it will work and I hope hold up until my kiddos no longer need it. I just wish the wood were a bit more substantial to make me feel more secure.

Really solid swing set. Using the BILT app to put together is a must, it really made the process that much easier.\nOur kids love the whole swing set but especially the little house and bench which provides a ton of different play in 1 structure. So happy we got this!

My kids (1,3,5) all love this swing set!! We love the house and bench feature. The flat steps on the ladder make it so that my 1 year old can easily climb on his own! It was easy to build- the instructions in the app were great!

I bought this a month ago. My husband and I put it together ourselves and ran into a few hiccups. A few of the boards didn't line up to the holes, so we had to buy new lumber and drill the holes ourselves. We still have to replace the wood for the bench because it doesn't even line up to the seat ends. The nails would be at the bare tip.

Assembly directions were good. Would be better if the number of the part had a color description would of saved some time looking at pieces. Had 3 or more pieces get serious splits and or cracks. Good amount of money was spent to purchase this set for my daughter and had some of the main pieces damaged was bad.

Great for my 3 year old, but definitely not something I feel safe putting my weight on. It is marked for ages 3-10, but my child keeps asking me to swing next to her or sit at the bench to play pretend. Overall a great set for the price, but be aware we're buying an additional swing frame with a huge saucer swing so we can swing together. The swing frame my FIL built at grandma's easily supports 3 adults and was about the same price, but it doesn't have the playhouse and slide.

I bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter for her 3rd birthday. The variety of things to play on (slide, two swings, grab bar, fort, sandbox) is great. She loves going from one thing to the next. She really likes to play she is a chef cooking up pizza, burgers, etc. while I sit on the bench at the window of the sandbox. The set is not real big and is only rated for 150 lbs however she will enjoy it for several years and she will have a little brother next year to play with and I'm sure he will enjoy it as well.

Very disappointed. Not sure if b/c of the product, the outsourced company workers Walmart hired to put it together, or both... but the product quality is awful, things didn't fit together well, it doesn't feel very safe, etc.

perfect for our 2 yr old grandaughter. one of the boards wasnt labled but we figured out as we went along. definatly a 2 person job.

We have a 2 and 5 year old and they love their new playground. It a good size for both of them . You can adjust the swings.

The quality is good, you have to watch for proper placement before you start the assembly process. We assembled it ourselves(as a family) and it took a day and a half. It's great for kids 10 & under.

Love this swing set so much that we've reccomended it to many neighbors! Now it's popping up in so many backyards!

The unit is very sturdy. Assembly was super easy. I do recommend that you use the app over the manual as the hardware ID# is not on the manual. Not that the manual isn't well written or descriptive enough, but ease of use with the app was superior. I highly recommend taking everything out and organizing everything so it's very easy to find and read. I built this by myself and finished in 7 hours.

We bought this for our 3 yr old grandson so he would have something to play on when he comes to visit. The pictures are deceiving for this product. The wood is very cheap, some of the boards were cracked and damaged when we opened the box. Splintering and Pilot holes didn't line up with each other. Ours never even had a tarp in it for the roof. Had to call customer support. I personally wouldn't recommend buying this, save your money and find something of better quality.

I bought this swing set for our son who was turning two. From the first time he laid eyes on it, he's loved it. It wasn't to difficult to assemble. Definitely a two person job. I would recommend this swing set

We love it! Pain to put together but that's to be expected. My son (who is 2) adores this playplace! It's great material and came together perfectly. No missing or broken pieces. I would def recommend this company and this exact playplace!

More than half of my pieces were missing during assembly couldn't finishing putting the project together wasted a lot of money on junk!! Kids can't even play on what was built because it's not safe!!

I'm 60 and a woman and built 2 structures on my own

It is a nice looking set, to be sure, but we had a few grievances with it. One of the boards was damaged in the box and it didn't come with spare hardware. A bolt broke while installing and we had to scour our garage for a suitable replacement piece. The top coating on the darker wood has peeled off in some places. It creaks and wobbles when my 3 year old swings, despite the anchor rods being placed. The swings are so low they nearly touch the ground. Also took three adults a day and a half to assemble. If you have bigger kids (7+), I'd look into another set.

Very clear instructions and easy to follow. I'm very impressed with the 3D image and how you can operate to see from other angles. Very clever

I am very happy with this swing set! My toddler is able to climb the ladder easily and the slide feels really safe, which is awesome. I can sit back and relax while he plays. I also appreciate that it included ground stakes to secure it. I purchased some separately but they aren't needed. It looks great in my yard and I'm very happy. *Toddler swing pictured was a separate purchase, it attached easily.

I think this is a nice swingset for young kids. It is big enough for 3 swings but still pretty compact. The fort is cool.
