Backyard Discovery Skyfort II with Wave Slide

Skyfort 2 is a classic backyard discovery swing set and is always a hit! It's well built and if taken care of properly will last a childs entire childhood. The skyfort part can be a little tricky to install but if you take your time it's worth it.

We really like this set. The kids love it. The set up is a long process, but if you're able to assemble Ikea furniture you can do this. We turned it into a family activity with music and food and we had fun. If you're organized, you'll rock it. The quality is good and safe for a backyard play set and the customer service was very responsive when we realized we were short a few bolts. Cannot emphasize enough the need to spend time to get yourself organized before you start assembling. Unpack EVERYTHING and arrange piles by the code that's printed on ends of each part (boxes come with mixed products for packing efficiency so don't assume items are already grouped) and sort all hardware and check the list against the list printed inside the instruction book. Call customer service immediately if something is missing. Have fun.

We love it so much! The quality is very durable and strong we have a 4 yr old and a 6 yr old so it's perfect for them to have enough stuff to play on now and still grow into without getting bored of it in a year or 2. The older cousins love the monkey bars! This is really the perfect okay set for families with lots of kids there is something for every age.

I bought this a few months ago. My kids really love it but im really unhappy with the slide. On of the main features and no matter how much we try to keep the plastic in place it keeps popping out at the bottom. Really upset since that's the favorite part and we paid quite a bit and we cant even use the slide 😕

Took a long time to stain and assemble. Directions are fairly easy to follow. Paper instructions and app instructions don't always match up 100% of the time. Spouse used the paper instructions while I used the app. Advantage of paper instructions is being able to see the entire assembly all at once. You only see one small step at a time on the app but you get really detailed 360 degree simulations of each and every step. Any issues I had were almost entirely user error. Overall I enjoyed the assembly. Staining sucks. Staging parts by steps and clear communication between the people assembling is critical to efficient assembly. 20 hours build time is fairly accurate. Invest in an impact driver and impact rated bits.

The kids love it. Built pretty solid wish the monkey bars were a little bit stronger. But overall for the price great deal we paid for the install. We didn't have to wait in about three weeks after we received it for them to install it food for thought.

Our set has been up for about a month now and my son plays on it every single day! It's great quality and exactly what we were looking for.

So far this playground has been great for our kiddos. Easy to understand directions and the app with virtual instructions was the best!

Kids haven't stopped playing on it! Paid for the installation as well. No issues. Everything was professionally done.

Bought and installed this last summer and it is still in the exact same condition as it was when I installed it. I would recommend if you're going to install your self to definitely layout all the wood\nAnd layout all the bolts and hardware. This will make the process go much quicker when time for install. I also reinforced the main deck with treated 2x4's. Reason for that is while you're building it you will be on crawling and standing on that a lot and what they give you is not sufficient enough. Also if you're going to have multiple kids up there I would definitely recommend it. Would definitely recommend this product. Well designed directions and good solid materials that will last.

Overall we love our swing set! We had it installed by our handyman. It took 2 men about 2 whole days to put together Some of the wood split or cracked which needs to be sanded down, but I'm not sure if that's a quality issue or an install issue. That being said, the swing set is extremely sturdy! We put a baby swing in the middle instead of the trapeze bar. We have had 3 kids (7,4,2) swinging at once and the swing set doesn't move at all. Our cautious 2 year old is still nervous to climb the stairs but the stairs have a hand rail on both sides to make it easy to climb. The slide is wicked fast and a little anxiety producing, but it doesn't seem to bother the kids at all. The monkey bars provide a good challenge and are a feature our kids will grow into. We are pleased so far and hope it last for many more years.

My husband is a contractor so he built this himself. It look him about a week- a several hours a day. We are happy with the quality and look. The only feedback I would give is that the slide is not a solid piece, it's like a thick piece of plastic inserted into two slots.

Purchased this play set to replace one destroyed during the hurricane, and this one has more features, including monkey bars that the grandchildren loved to play on

We purchased this playground for Christmas this year and my kids have loved it. It definitely took longer than I expected to put together but the instructions and companion app were amazing. Every step was easily explained and labeled. I probably had as much fun building it as my kids have had playing on it.

We love this swing set. We have a 4 year old granddaughter, she absolutely loves the playground set.

We just got this play set put up over Christmas and it's great, my 2 grandsons have enjoyed playing on it!

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our 3 grandsons (ages 2, 5 & 8) to replace one that was old. It has great features & the kids love the fort. They prefer to eat lunch at the picnic table rather than come inside even when it's cold. It is good for all ages & very sturdy. With the size of this play set, numerous kids can all play at the same time & it not be crowded.

Purchased for my kids and they love it . Wish assembly was a little easier but other then that success

Bought this for our 2 year old and he loves it. The\nMonkey bars are pretty high, my 5'3 self cannot even reach them but it seems like it's going to be great to grow with him for years. I do wish the planks were a bit thicker for peace of mind but so far it's been great!

We bought our grandson the Skyfort Ii for Christmas and he absolutely loved it. It was quite the project putting together. Thank goodness my husband is good at building and following directions. It is the most beautiful and sturdy playset I have ever seen. Thank you so much.

We assembled it ourselves: 2 teams of 1 adult +1 8yo. Took 3 days of dedicated work, about 17-20 hours total. It was very much like putting together a big Lego set. The wood is cedar-scented pine, but sturdy, and I've got no complaints there. A few build tips: It took 2 hours to organize and lay out the pieces, but it was well worth it, as we were able to send the kids to fetch the wood parts for each step. Use one drill per team. We also unstapled the instructions and 3-hole punched them so we could split up and work concurrently on different parts. Finally, pay attention to the details, as you can easily put a board in the wrong way, and now your pre-drilled holes for another step later are in the wrong place.

overall good. can be frustrating, have to jump from box to box to get needed pieces for each step.

Purchased this to replace a very old swingset for our grandkids. The assembly was long and tedious but the instructions were spot on. The online app was very helpful at times to assist with some clarity. Had an issue with a part and it was shipped to me right away. It was helpful to lay out the parts by number so that they were easy to find. I bought the anchors and rubber pieces to hold playground in place and keep the wood off the ground - I highly recommend doing this.

I bought this in June 2024 for my 5 year old son. I wanted a play set that would last and that he wouldn't outgrow. This definitely didn't disappoint. It did take my husband about a week to build by himself. Overall very happy with this purchase.

We got out play set 1 year ago and our 4 year old loves it. There's plenty of different features to keep her entertained. The monkey bars are too far spaced apart for her but that is something she will grow into. The wood it's made out of isn't as heavy as what we thought it would be but is holding up well. We did put a coating of water sealer on the play set to be safe. Set up- it's not pretty. Be prepared to do this over a couple of days. With 3 people who are somewhat handy you could get it built in 3 days if you work all day. Everything was labeled very nicely, there are just A LOT of pieces. Overall I am happy with our purchase and so is my child.

I bought this for my granddaughter and she loves this, she spend a lot of her outside time swinging, sliding, or monkey bars to playing in the fort and climbing all over it. I feel this was a great investment

My kids love this play set, especially the crow's nest. It is enormous and lots of fun! The wood is not the most sturdy quality, and the slide is not a solid piece or plastic. I gave 4 stars for those 2 reasons, but other than that it is great!

This was a fun DIY project. The directions were very accurate and all the pieces fit together without having to make any afjustments. When they didn't work it was my fault. It's critical to note the orientation of each piece. The ultimate test- the grandkids won't stop playing on it!

Ours girls are 7 and 9 and are rowdy, so we were looking for a play set that could last them a few years and withstand how hard they play. They LOVE the monkey bars (in my opinion it's the best feature of this playhouse because kids love them so much). This set has so many different things to offer and my husband was a huge fan of the interactive set up instructions (instead of the normal paper with very little description).
