Backyard Discovery Woodland Swing Set

This was a bigger project than expected. The slides especially were hard to figure out from directions. The kids love it and it is a very good looking playset with lots of fun additions. The wood is VERY cheap. It has been up one week and we already have a broken piece. I’m upset we spent so much and it will probably not last very long. I plan to add sealant to it and hopefully that will help preserve it.

Have not yet assembled, but is very good quality material. I would have payed extra to have it sealed prior to receiving it, that was a real pain. All 4 pieces of the shipment did not arrive and Amazon was good about sending a replacement, it would have been nice to know that I could have called the company and had the missing part of the shipment sent instead of a whole new unit then returning the original shipment. Dealing with the trucking company was frustrating to say the least, the shipment sat in a warehouse 100 miles from my home for 10 days with no explanation and no contact from the company.

This kit is NOT for larger kids. It is all light weight untreated cedar. Overall the kit is well laid out and fitment is good. There is an ample amount of hardware with this kit. There are several bits included with the kit for using an impact driver but a regular phillips bit should be used in the tighter mounting holes.This play set WILL NOT stand up to larger kids. Keep that in mind if you have older and younger kids.A couple of the steps are flawed.- mounting the spiral slide cant be done with the railing slats in place and as a grownup you cannot climb inside to screw in the 18 screws. assemble the spiral slide top flange first onto the main structure then connect the rest of the slide to the flange.- Assemble the roof on the ground because again as an adult you cannot climb into the play structure without risking collapse. I assembled it on the ground and was able to lift it up and my wife was able to guide it into place.Organization- Save some time by laying out the hardware according to type. There are several different types of hardware. Screws, bolts, anchor nuts, lag screws, bolts, washers and brackets. This gets frustrating trying to find the correct numbered hardware with everything just sitting on the table or in the box.Cons:- Paying close to 2000.00 for this seems a bit over priced considering it is only good for kids up to about 100lbs without modification.- Nothing is treated for outdoor use.- Durability.Pros:- The kit was complete with some extra hardware- Most holes were pre drilled- Overall fitment was good- 90% of assembly can be done by one person- Several ways to keep the kids busy

We bought this in spring and it has been such a hit with the kids this summer. It has been great for all ages, and has been a great addition to the back yard in our new home!

Very well made. Easy to assemble. My 2 1/2 year old LOVES it.

We bought this over the summer for our two year old. She loves it and we can tell it's going to last for many years. It took my husband about a week to put it together alone after work and one full Saturday.

So glad I invested in this play-set for the grandkids. They love it and can really burn off that energy! Seems very sturdy to withstand the Minnesota weather.

I bought this over the summer and it working good so far. I am a bit worried how long this will hold up for my son who is currently 4, hoping it last at least 5 years

We bought the playset for our kids and they have loved playing on it! We have definitely got our money worth out of it for all the time we have spent playing in the backyard on the playset.

I purchased an Outdoor Discovery swing set for my two granddaughters and couldn't be happier with it! It was delivered quickly, quality is great, and though it was a lot to assemble, we had it ready for play in one weekend! Everything is labeled correctly and instructions were step by step! 💯 granddaughter approved!

The grandchildren absolutely love this play equipment and can burn off a lot of energy. It did take several days for one person to assemble, and I wish assembly was available in our area. Other than that, very happy with this set.

although it took four days for one person to assemble, it was well worth it. The kids absolutely love it and it seems to be structurally very sound.. After a Minnesota winter or two we will put it to the test. It snowed as soon as it was assembled (April 22 ) This did not stop the kids though!

This has work perfectly, for my in-home Childcare. I am so glad I got the set with the playhouse and climbing wall. This set keeps the children of all age groups busy. I love it!

I got this for my grandchildren and it was installed during the summer. The two guys that built it were here until 9 pm getting it finished. They did an amazing job and the kids enjoy it so much.

Pieces nicely labeled and instructions good. Wood is a bit thinner than expected and finish coming off already though. Will need to treat wood first thing in the spring.

Great quality, everything is labeled and organized, pieces all fit very well during assembly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality swing set.

We purchased this for our grandson. the video to put together helped alot. i recommend laying out all the pieces number/letter side up. he loves his swingset and we are happy with our purchase.

Bought for my 2 yo birthday. Her and her cousins play all the time!!! Her favorite is the under hide out she pretends is a kitchen. It's study enough I can play with her and slide when her cousins are not over. It does take multiple people 8-10 hours to put together but am very happy with the results and she loves to play every day!

We bought this last year, and the kids love it. The slide is great and with the tall sides it is very safe. Added a small play kitchen for playtime. I would recommend this playset.

My kids (4 and 1) absolutely love this backyard set, and it's a hit with the our neighborhood kids who are older too. I highly recommend this set! It took a minute to assemble, I recommend having at least two people put it together. I organized the pieces while my husband put it together.

We bought this swing set almost a year ago! Our girls love it! We added a little wooden kitchen in the bottom area. The girls are always cooking something up! Highly recommend this set!

My kids received this set for Christmas. It was everything it was advertised to be. Looking forward to a summer of fun.

I've had this playset for over 8 months now. It is engineered well. I thought some of the boards were too thin, but after assembling it, they were fine. The ability to assemble this with the Built app was great. Made assembly really easy. I did have some screws that were missing and had a lot of spare screws and nuts left over. Some of the boards were hard to identify, but you eventually figure it out. After last winter, I noticed some bolts backing out. I will have to check all of them soon. It is recommended that you stain it every year. I'm not sure about that, but I'm going to try.

We love the playset but within a few months, one seat has broken off and another is breaking.

Great product and easy to assemble. I ordered this for my kids and they absolutely love it. Shipping was a little slow but when we finally got it my kids were eagerly waiting for me to put it together. I was able to assemble this by myself in just 1 short weekend. The instructions were perfect and easy to follow.
